From the moment Derek Crawford’s father introduced him to the world of motorsports, it was clear he was born to race. Growing up in Southern California, Derek’s weekends were often spent at the track or the motocross park. Whether he was navigating the tight corners of a go-kart circuit or flying over jumps on his motocross bike, Derek quickly developed a love for speed and precision.
But his true passion ignited the first time he watched Ken Block’s iconic Gymkhana videos. From that moment on, his path was set—he wanted to be a drifter.
By 19, he had his first drift-ready car and was already making a name for himself at local events and grassroots competitions.
Now, at 21, Derek is a rising star in the Southern California drifting scene, known for his clean style, smooth transitions, and relentless dedication to improving his skills. Whether it’s on the track or in a parking lot practice session, Derek brings an energy and focus that sets him apart from other drivers his age.
